My name is Omar Kukash. Hair has been my passion of more than 10 years, and helping clients achieve their hair goals is the backbone of my craft.


I created Solace Salon to give my clients the space to not only escape from the stresses of every day life, but to transform & walk away feeling ready to face them head on.

Cancellation Policy:

I respectfully ask that clients provide at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling their appointment. A credit card is required to hold an appointment. 


Clients whose appointments are canceled within 24 hours or are deemed a “No-Show” (more than 15 minutes late) will incur a charge of 50% of the service amount.


If originally scheduled within 24 hours of your appointment time, only 4 hours are required to cancel or make modifications to avoid a 50% charge for the service amount.

I'm so excited to meet and welcome you to Solace Salon! Here's what you need to know:

  • If you know exactly what service(s) you want, go ahead and schedule your appointment.
  • Not sure what to choose or want to totally change your look? Please book a consultation so we can talk through the services that will best achieve your hair goals.
  • If you want to avoid credit card fees upon payment, please bring cash.

In general, if you're a new client and want to book any color/dimensional color service, you should start off with a consultation to avoid booking the wrong thing. It's also important to set expectations around exactly what we'll need to do to achieve your hair goals.


All appointments are managed through my booking website, Gloss Genius. Click here to start booking in a new tab, and we'll walk through it together!


  1. Click the "Book Now" button.
  2. Under "Choose Professional," select "Omar Kukash" and click "Next."
  3. Select the service(s) you would like to book. You can even select more than one! After you're done, click the "Book Services" button.
  4. Choose the date that you'd like to come in and click "Next."
  5. Choose the time you'd like to come in, and click "Next."
  6. Enter your information into the form fields, and click "Next."
  7. Enter in a working credit card number, click  "Next," and you should be all set!

    Once you book:

  • You should see a confirmation message on your screen.
  • You should receive a confirmation text.
  • You should also receive a confirmation email.


If you're the person receiving the service, book the appointment under your name. If it's someone else (your child, sister, long lost cousin twice removed, etc.) book it under their name. Please DO NOT book an appointment for someone else under your name.


Sure! It's common for guests to book some services together, such as hair color and waxing. If you'd like to book multiple services during the same appointment, just include them all as you're scheduling.


Each service varies in the amount of time and products needed to achieve best results, so please try to be intentional in selecting the correct service(s) from the get-go.


If you decide to change your service within 24 hours of your appointment, I may not be able to accommodate if I don't have the right products and/or there isn't enough time allotted.


If you need to reschedule an appointment, the first place to start is going to the link in the confirmation text and/or email you received after booking. 


  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Cancel Appointment."*
  2. Select "Yes" to continue.
  3. Select "Yes" to go to the calendar to select a new date & time.
  4. Select a new date & time and click "Next" to continue. 
  5. If all of your information is correct on the following page, select "Next" and you're all set.

*Note that if you are rescheduling within 24 hours (or within 4 hours if scheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time), you will incur a 50% charge for the service amount.


If you need to cancel an appointment, the first place to start is going to the link in the confirmation text and/or email you received after booking. Try to avoid canceling if possible – unless you' re comfortable waiting an extra month or two for another appointment.

  3. Select "No" when prompted to reschedule, and you're all set.

Solace Salon abides by the most current guidelines issued by the CDC. At this time, I do not require masks to be worn nor proof of vaccination. I am vaccinated and boosted and happy to provide proof to any clients who would like to make sure everyone is comfortable.


In the interest of my own health and yours, I respectfully ask that all guests who do not feel well on the day of their appointment reach out as soon as possible so we can reschedule to another day.


I accept credit, debit or cash payment. No checks, please! Cash also is recommended if you'd like to avoid credit card fees and for tips. 😊
